The patented KIS double-cantilever shear beam adds a second cantilever sleeve over the sensor I-beam, so the applied load always sits directly over the gage sensors — a floating load point. The result: virtually immune to side forces up to 100% of capacity, thermal expansion, vibration and twisting. Where ordinary load cells need check rods, stay rods and on-site recalibration, KIS installs simply, arrives factory-calibrated, and holds its accuracy for decades. Inside: Micro-Measurements foil strain gages in a temperature-compensated full Wheatstone bridge — VPG technology end to end.

The G6 multi-channel process instrument succeeds the G4 — the industry-standard weighing and force-measurement instrument proven in the field for more than two decades. Modular hardware with up to six field-upgradeable modules, customizable application software for batching, tank and silo weighing, roll force and crane weighing, multiple interfaces and high-speed communication — in a robust aluminum housing built for the same environments as the load cells it reads. Developed and manufactured in-house at BLH Nobel, it protects customers' existing investments while moving them to current technology.
