BLH

Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton founded BLH Electronics in 1955, carrying forward the 1937–38 invention of the bonded strain gage, the sensing principle inside nearly every load cell made since. A US-rooted process-weighing pioneer.

NOBEL

Born from Bofors in Karlskoga, Sweden (the industrial group once owned by Alfred Nobel), the Bofors load cell division became Nobel Elektronik in the mid-1980s. Swedish engineering, with in-house development and manufacturing to this day.
